Mr. Hassan O Rashid is a Director of PBIL and is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Prime Bank PLC, bringing over 27 years of experience across both local and multinational banking industries.

Before joining Prime Bank, he served as Additional Managing Director at Eastern Bank Limited, where he played a pivotal role in driving transformation and balance sheet growth over an eight-year tenure.

Mr. Rashid began his banking career with Crédit Agricole Indosuez, and later held senior leadership roles at HSBC and Standard Chartered Bank, gaining deep expertise in corporate banking, risk management, and strategic growth.

He holds a B.A. in Economics and Business Administration from Capital University, USA, and a Master’s in International Management from the Garvin School of Management, Thunderbird, USA. He is also a certified Credit Professional by Omega, UK.
